Chrysalis Design is the latest addition to the Blooms Family.

We are currently in the process of producing a range of Bespoke Handcrafted Tiaras & Fascinators with a range of matching jewellery to follow later.

We are also currently working on a new range of "cake jewelery".  The sparkling way to top your cake, you may even like your cake top to match your Chrysalis Design tiara

Tiaras & Fascinators are becoming popular not only for weddings but also for formal evening functions and School Proms.  The beauty of being a bespoke service is that you have maximum input into how your tiara will look for your special occasion.

The wires and bases we use are gold-plated or silver plated.  We use Swarovski Crystals & Swarovski Crystal 'Pearls',  we are also currently sourcing freshwater cultured pearls for use in our jewellery making.  We hope to be able to offer these for sale shortly and make some of our other pieces of jewellery available with sterling silver fittings.

It is also possible to make some pieces using cheaper alternatives when available.  Whilst special finish (AB) Czech Fire Glass beads may have some sparkle, it's only when you see them next to proper cut crystal beads you realise how dull they actually are in comparison.  If you are in doubt about whether a bead is cut crystal or cut glass take a close look at the edges of the facets - if they are rounded it's fire-polished glass, if they're sharp it is crystal.  It's this sharp edge which reflects more light & hence give more sparkle.  Unlike some other companies, we do not refer to our beads as crystal unless they actually are!
